This event will be a weekend graded event run on Saturday the 18th and Sunday 19th November 2023.
A Grade – Players in a county Premier or 1st Division League Team (Squash Levels: 4800 - 11999)
B Grade – Players in a County League 2nd or 3rd Division League Team (Squash Levels: 2500 - 4799)
C Grade – Players in a County League 4th or 5th or Lower Division League Team (Squash Levels: 1200 - 2499)
D Grade – Non-Team Players who play recreationally or in a Club internal League (Squash Levels: 300 - 1199)
E Grade – Players who are beginners and are fairly new to the game (Squash Levels: 0 - 299)
• Trophies will be awarded to all grade and plate winners and finalists.
• Entry fee of UK and non Belgium based players is £60.00 and is payable by either bank transfer or online via credit/debit card. Please note that entry fees must be paid in advance in order to secure your place in the category that you have entered.

• Entry Fee includes The Brussels Classic 2023 tournament t-shirt.
• All players are guaranteed a minimum of three matches as the event will be run using a monrad format over the 2 days.
• All matches will be Best of 5, PAR 11 Scoring (2 clear at 10-10)
• All matches results will be logged onto League Master and imported into Squash Levels

• Players arrive in Brussels, tournament introduction and a session of fun doubles in the evening followed by dinner and drinks (nothing too crazy!!).
• 10am to 7pm - Tournament starts with Rounds One and Two of the A to E Grades taking place (Monrad Format for all grades). Everyone will have two matches on the Saturday. This is followed by dinner at the club and a night out in Brussels.
• 10am to 6pm - Tournament Round Three and Finals for all grades, followed by closing prize ceremony, dinner and drinks.
• Players fly/Eurostar back home (probably hungover & questioning their life choices...).
The following hotels below have been recommended and all are close to the city centre.
Motel One Brussels is centrally located in Brussels, a 10-minute walk away from the Grand-Place, the Manneken Pis Statue, the Rue Neuve Shopping District and Brussels-Central Train Station. Free WiFi is available throughout the entire accommodation.

It boasts a high-tech fitness centre, an in-house restaurant and secured parking with electric car chargers. Free WiFi is available in the entire hotel.
The bright rooms at Thon Hotel EU come with a Smart TV, a work desk, a small fridge with 2 complimentary bottles of mineral water, Nespresso coffee machine and private bathrooms with free toiletries. Many rooms are fully adapted to disabled travelers. Guests can enjoy a snack, drink or meal at the hotel's brasserie-style restaurant The Twelve. A breakfast buffet is offered here every morning. With good weather, guests can relax at the large outdoor terrace.
Hotel Cafe Pacific offers elegant rooms only 700 yards from the Grand-Place, set in a lively area in Brussels. This design hotel features free WiFi access.
Hotel Cafe Pacific benefits from air-conditioned rooms with flat-screen cable TV and a seating area. Every room features a unique theme. Each of the modern bathrooms comes with a hairdryer, free rituals toiletries.
For an additional charge, guests can enjoy a daily buffet breakfast in the bar at Cafe Pacific. It also offers a small selection of light snacks and sweet treats in the evening in an elegant setting including stained glass windows.
Bourse Metro Station is a 5-minute walk away. The Manneken Pis Statue and the Museum of Cocoa and Chocolate are both a 10-minute walk from the hotel.
