This event will be a weekend & one day event run on Friday the 3rd (A Grade) and Saturday the 4th (A to F Grades) of July 2026 with the categories below.
The A Grade will be run on Friday afternoon/evening (Qualifying & Round One) and Saturday (Plate, Round Two & Finals)
The B to F Grades will be run on Saturday only and will be one day monrad competitions that will run along side the final rounds of the A Grade.
A Grade – (12 places) - (Squash Levels: 4000+ ) - Pro players in the PSA top 200, county players or similar level . Places will be limited to the top 12 entries with the highest Squash Levels ranking.
B Grade (8 places) – (Squash Levels: 2200 - 3999) - Players in the PSA, county players or county 1st division league team players.
C Grade (8 places) – (Squash Levels: 1000 - 2199) - County players or players in a county league 2nd division team.
D Grade (12 places) – (Squash Levels: 400 - 999) - Players who play in a lower team, recreationally or in a mixed club internal League.
E Grade (12 places) – (Squash Levels: 100 - 399) - Players who are beginners to competitive squash or play a lower league women's team.
F Grade (12 places) – (Squash Levels: 0 - 99) - Players who are beginners to the game of squash.
• Trophies will be awarded to all grade and plate winners and finalists.
• The event entry fee is £32.50 and payable in advance by debit/credit card online or by cash/card on the day.
• The entry fee includes a Canterbury Women's Open tournament t-shirt/vest.
• All players are guaranteed a minimum of three matches as the event will be run using a monrad format.
• All A Grade matches will use Best of 5, PAR 11 Scoring and B to F Grade matches will use Best of 3, PAR 11 Scoring (2 clear at 10-10).
• All matches results will be logged onto League Master and imported into Squash Levels

Prize Money will be awarded for each grade based on the finishing positions:
• A Grade: 1st Place: £1500, 2nd Place, £1300, 3rd Place: £1100, 4th Place: £900, 5th Place: £600, 6th Place: £500, 7th Place: £400, 8th Place: £300, Plate Winner: £200, Plate Runner-Up: £150
• B Grade: 1st Place: £150, 2nd Place: £100
• C, D, E & F Grades: 1st Place: £60, 2nd Place: £40
• All grade winners will also receive a souvenir hardback copy of the "Squash, Then and Now: A Celebration" book.
• All Plate finalists will receive Karakal Squash Prizes (Bags, Backpacks, Grips)
